Writing to you from Barcelona - I. AM. EXHAUSTED. Our first flight out of Dallas was delayed due to maintenance issues - so we needed a new plane. Got the new plane and then weather delay. We missed our connection by 15 minutes in New York and were quickly routed on a new flight connecting in Madrid and then to Barcelona. Three flights - 24 hours. Yuck! Getting settled and resting for a few before heading out to do a little unwinding and exploring! I can't wait to share snippets of my business trip in this gorgeous city with you!
This week I'm sharing how I styled our dining room table for a Thanksgiving set-up. Of course we will be at our families homes during the holidays but who says you can't set the table any enjoy it even though you won't use it?! :)
I just love love love our grey french country dining table. It's the perfect neutral tone for the pops of color I brought in with the dining chairs. So fun to throw some color in there every now and then!
Of course I've got all sorts of copper decor on the table including the copper flatware and the copper chargers. I loved pairing our white dinner plates with a signature bowl to give it a harvest feel! I've linked all my items below!
For the centerpieces I just went simple. I always like to have candlelight when preparing a table as well as some varied height decor. I love the contrast of homey/rustic and modern with the copper and marble taper holders. Throw in some gourds, pinecones and mini pumpkins and you've got an easy, inexpensive centerpiece!
I can't wait for the holidays! I hope y'all enjoyed my tablescape - I'd love to see what your plans are for a thanksgiving tablescape - share with me by e-mailing a few pics of your centerpieces!
